Thanksgiving Outreach is all about sharing our bounty with those in need during the Holidays! We collect all the classic food items for a complete Thanksgiving meal, and put together food baskets to deliver to no-income/low-income families so that they can celebrate the day just like you and I! We have delivered over 760 Thanksgiving Baskets since 2012, and many of those baskets are provided for families transitioning from homelessness into housing. For some, this will be their first Thanksgiving in their own home after experiencing homelessness.

This Year we are providing Grocery Store Gift Cards to families instead of the Traditional Meal Basket. This provides each family with more flexibility to get exactly what they NEED to meet their family traditions and needs! There are 2 ways YOU can help;

1) Purchase a gift card from a major local grocery store (Walmart, Target, Albertsons, Kroger's, etc.) for either $50, $75 or $100 and drop them off at our facility before 11/23/22.

2) Donate in increments of $50, $75 or $100 at the link below to sponsor as many families as you wish.

Our List is Already over 100 Families who are needing assistance this year!

What is Included

Thanksgiving Baskets Include;

  1. 13 - 16lb frozen turkey

  2. Aluminum roasting pan

  3. Cornbread dressing mix (family size)

  4. Chicken broth or stock

  5. Canned sweet potato or yams

  6. Canned cranberry sauce

  7. Dinner rolls (heat and serve)

  8. Pie 

  9. White laundry basket (square w/handles)

  10. Napkins

  11. Tablecloth (disposable)

Additional Items We Collect for Thanksgiving;

  1. 7-8Lb Spiral Hams

  2. Instant Jello

  3. Canned Green Beans

  4. Canned Cream of Mushroom Soup

  5. Dried Onion Strings

  6. Plastic Forks/Knives/Spoons

  7. Paper Towels

  8. Fresh Onions, Carrots & Celery

  9. Holiday Cakes

  10. Fresh Baked Cookies (or refrigerated cookie dough)
