Gary Wilkerson | When We Love

Our Founder

Gary Wilkerson and his family went through the humbling experience of losing their home and being just a day or two from living on the streets of Fort Worth. He lived the horrible side of homelessness and understands the hopeless feeling that comes when homeless struggles impact those we love.  

Now, he’s driven to help others as much as possible.

We’ve been serving the homeless in Tarrant County since 2009

We believe we can make a bigger difference and equip people to beat homelessness. That’s why we provide resources to help them regain their self-worth and successfully function in society. We’ve been serving the homeless since 2009 and have helped countless people get back on their feet and find permanent housing.
